LWW Chapter 7 Summary #21

In chapter 7 of The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis, the children notice something in the woods. The shadow turns out to be a beaver who knows about Mr. Tumnus's disappearance. By showing the children the handkerchief that Lucy gave Tumnus, the children know that this beaver is trustworthy. As the beaver explains why they mustn't talk in the presence of the forest, they learn that this beavers name was Mr. Beaver.  When the children get to the Beaver's house Edmund see's two remarkable hills and the children meet Mrs. Beaver and they get down to business. As everything about Narnia, Aslan, the Witch, and many details of history are told. . . the name of Aslan gives everyone a very powerful, delightful feeling. But Edmund felt quite the opposite feeling.  Soon, everyone is tired and have finally realized that Edmund is gone.
